About me
My name is Yaron Reich, currently residing in Tillsonburg Ontario, Canada.
My journey into visual arts started when I studied Industrial Design 20 some years ago. That was my first exposure to photography. I have been hooked since then.
After working in photojournalism for a few years I moved into printing. I lived through the desktop publishing revolution, being forced to adopt and learn computer work. Thank God for that. It gave me a solid knowledge in file management, image manipulation, backup and archive, which helps me immensely in my photography work today.
In 2002 I purchased my first digital camera. After exploring and seeing the huge advantages in digital photography I thought, man, I would love to get back to where I left off years ago, so I did. I still work as a digital pre-press operator and turned my old love - photography - into a small business.
My approach to each event is to make it as unique as possible. I like to stay in the background, trying not to pose or change your event at all.
When it comes to weddings, my "directing" is limited to a portrait session of the couple and the people who are involved - the family and the wdding party. For the rest of the day I will look for and document special moments, emotions, light and composition.
Well, that's about it. Call me, we can talk.
